As we grow, so do the opportunities for community members to volunteer. We have several facets at All-In, all of which could use more regular volunteers. Read more about different departments, and what they each need.
We have activities with fixed hours (food drives, kindness closet) and also tasks that can be done any time of the day like food deliveries.
We have a large number of families who receive food deliveries direct to their homes each week. We always need more dependable drivers who can deliver to peoples homes once weekly. Volunteers typically sign up for between 3-10 drops per "shift". We deliver to needy people in Salinas, Seaside, Castroville, Marina, Sand City, Monterey, PG and even Carmel. We have a Food Drive at Seaside High School Mondays (put on by the National Guard) no help needed there.
Our Wednesday drive-thru Giving Markets could use extra hands; bring your Muscles!
We always need assistance for set up + clean up. The Wednesday drives are held at Monterey Peninsula College. We operate this market rain or shine.
Bonus points if you have a truck, van or other large vehicle that can carry tables, pallets and boxes back to Seaside High School after the drive ends each week. 1:30pm-5:30pm.
The KC is open two Saturdays per month and is located at Seaside High School. Upcoming scheduled dates are: May 1st and May 15th.
Through the generosity of the ALL-IN community, the KC shares gifts of clothing, baby gear, toiletries, cleaning supplies, back-to-school items, fun things for the kiddos, some housewares and basic groceries. We have strict safety protocol and ample space, outdoor and indoor, to accommodate social distancing, which is required, along with masks.
1. The guest completes a form noting requests
2. The designated volunteer reviews the list and checks with the guest re questions
3. The guest waits curbside while the volunteer marks off items provided or notes "out of stock"
4. Baskets of clothes in requested sizes are provided first for the guest’s review
5. The volunteer then pulls specific items needed, as available, and delivers to the guest
6. The volunteer returns baskets of clothes and other items to designated locations
✨Availability 1-2 Saturday shifts per month and minimum of 2 hours between 8am - 3pm
✨Enthusiasm for speaking with guests (masked/distanced) to clarify questions*
✨Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment that includes lifting containers weighing 15-25 pounds; willingness to complete assigned tasks; and enjoyment in making it a great experience for our guests (bilingual a plus, not a requirement!)

Setup/Cleanup and sorting help that does NOT involve interaction with guests is also useful in ALL ways! We welcome early bird introverts who like to prepare, and those who enjoy the important work of breakdown and re-set.

We change our donation requests each month according to our clients needs. We are grateful you are here inquiring about our needs, thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
All-In has NO EMPLOYEES. We are 100% Donation funded and 100% Volunteer Driven. We help all kinds of people from individual families to whole organizations. As such, we are always in need of more supplies to restock our shelves with fresh "kindness" for our neighbors in need.
We have both, a free grocery store-The Giving Market, and a free thrift store-The Kindness closet. We take donations of food, clothing, household supplies, diapers, hygiene products.
While we appreciate donations, we do not have room to accept ALL donations due to our limited storage capacity. Please see our list of requested goods below, or check our our amazon wishlist here by clicking the link on this page.
Because of Covid, we currently only take freshly laundered clothing donations that are folded, sorted and labeled. This helps us to spend our time helping people instead of laundering and sorting clothing, but more importantly to keep everyone safe (we need volunteers for sorting too). Clothing should be unstained, un-torn with no missing buttons or zippers. Toys blankets and sheets should also come in clean condition, laundered sorted and labeled.
